Located midway between Cleveland and Pittsburgh in Northeast Ohio, Trumbull County (OH) is about an hour’s drive from each and conveniently located just off Interstate 80.  The Administrative office are only 10 minutes from a regional airport (home of the 910th Air Force Reserve Station), and three commercial airports service the area, including Cleveland, Pittsburgh, and Akron Canton, making travel to the site very convenient.

Trumbull County is the proud home to the Medici Museum of Art (Warren), currently hosting the Norman Rockwell American Scouting Collection.  The National Packard Museum (Warren); the Packard is America’s first luxury car.  Niles is proud to be the birthplace of the 25th President of the United States, William McKinley; nearby in Mesopotamia, we’re home to the fourth-largest Amish Community in the U.S.

You can treat yourself to unique one-of-a-kind finds in small local shops to enjoy the variety of shopping and entertainment options at one of the most visited mall complexes in Ohio.

With 44,000 acres dedicated to outdoor recreation, the second-largest inland lake in Ohio, and a newly designated “wild and scenic” river, the Western Reserve Greenway connecting Lake Erie to the Ohio River, Trumbull County is where the call of the wild sounds strong.

Local business attraction efforts had shown success recently when we welcomed Foxconn, also known as Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., the world’s largest contract maker of electronics, with factories worldwide.  While they’re best known for making iPhones and other Apple devices here in Lordstown, they’ve recently purchased a 6.2 million square foot factory to produce various electric vehicles.  General Motors has partnered with South Korea’s Ultium Cell, developing lithium-ion electric vehicle battery cells in a 2.8 million-square-foot facility.

In partnership with cities and townships within its borders, the County is also working on several brownfield investment projects.

And you won’t go hungry here in our area.  The County boasts America’s first Italian Food Trail with over 60 food sites.  Along with other local favorite restaurants featuring a variety of cuisine, you’ll find seven wineries, tasting rooms, and a couple of breweries.  For dessert you can stop at the creamery serving up national award-winning ice cream.
